Why this blog?

While Laurie is in hospital undergoing surgery and then in recovery this site will be used to post the most current information available.

    hi there,

    i have just had 5 brain surgeries, and like you, find that a good sense of humour really helps. the photos are great-my hair was such a mess, I wouldn't let anyone near me with a camera! it was bad enough allowing anyone to see me in such a state...it's tough though-why me and wishing that life was "normal" again. you have inspired me though-thank you, best wishes, lindsayxx
